Berry smoothies are one our favourite things to enjoy alongside a weekend brunch or on busy weekday mornings. This is a very simple recipe but has a few ingredients that make it my favourite type of berry smoothie, the banana makes it thick and creamy, while the almond butter adds a depth of nutty flavour. We use whatever berries we have in the freezer, if you don't have the ones mentioned in the recipe, try using any frozen berry you have at home.
Serves 2 & takes 2 minutes to make
Ingredients
1 banana, peeled and cut into a few pieces
200g frozen blueberries
50g frozen raspberries
1 tablespoon of almond butter
250g almond milk
Method
1. Simply place all of the ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until smooth - you can add a dash more almond milk if you like it a little thinner.
2. Pour into two glasses and enjoy
